After receiving a critical mauling upon release, A.I. Artificial Intelligence has become one of Spielberg’s most debated and admired films, with a vast number of great essays being written about it. Film Quarterly have the latest, as penned by the great critic Jonathan Rosenbaum.

The great online film magazine Reverse Shot have dedicated Issue 31 to Spielberg. It’s the second time they’ve done a special on the director and is comprehensive enough to look back not only on Spielberg’s early films, but also his early TV work. It looks like the site will be updated with new Spielberg essays throughout the year, so it’s definitely one to look out for....

The Guardian recently added Munich to their ongoing Reel History series. The capsule review gives the film a C+ for both Entertainment and Historial value and argues that while the film “tries to ask big questions” it is “stumped for answers”.
